Oodles of pics and an update

Hi Everyone!
I know it's been a while, but I've finally got some new pictures up! Things here are going well. We are more settled into our new place and are really liking the apartment and the location.
Annelies is doing great. She had a bit of a cold this week and has been drooling up a storm- though no signs of new teeth yet, they must be coming soon! Yesterday was the first day that she did some real standing on her own! She stays up for quite a while- usually while holding two things in her hands- before plopping back down again. I have a feeling that she'll be walking in no time at all.
The past two weeks have been fun ones for us. Hans celebrated a big birthday on the 15th and we went to dinner with friends. My friend Denise was in town for a little visit as well that weekend and we had a great time with her. Last weekend we took Annelies to Drumlin Farm- it's a working farm in Lincoln, about 40 minutes from here. She loved looking at all the animals, and we loved watching her get so excited about everything she saw.
This coming weekend we have a wedding to go to on the Cape. Annelies will be staying with my parents. We are looking forward to some time away, though it will be the first night without her- not sure how I'll handle that!
We've also just booked tickets for a trip to Europe in November. We are really excited to return to visit family and friends.

September Shenanigans

Hey everyone! Well, we have moved into our new apartment- thanks to the tireless efforts of our terrific familia. Annelies did not make the situation any easier; she chose last week to have a stomach bug that was none too pleasant :) We were able to enjoy the labor day weekend with a cookout on Sunday and a day at the beach on Monday. Now we're into the regular week and I'm slowly working through the unpacking project. Annelies turned 11 months old yesterday- really can't believe that one. Enjoy the pics below!
