Sprinkler Park Fun!

Who knew such cool places existed?! Annelies went to her first birthday party on Tuesday at a sprinkler park in Belmont. I thought she might be kind of imtimidated- but no- she LOVED it! She was crawling around on the cement and getting splashed right in the face and she thought it was the best thing ever. Definitely a fun way to keep cool in this heat!

Sweet Pea

Hi everyone, Happy Summer! Things are going well for the Brink family. Annelies is a master crawler and has begun to pull herself up onto a few things around the house. Yesterday she suffered her first real injury- a pretty good bump near her eye, but she's bounced back :) We went to the beach yesterday and she has developed a pretty good taste for sand. She's still not so sure of that great big, cold mass of water at the edge of the sand, though! We are looking forward to the week of the 4th; we'll celebrate in Duxbury and then Hans has some time off and we're heading up to Bar Harbor, Maine! Enjoy the many expressions in the pictures below! Today Annelies got to hang out with Isabel and Kaya. Leah and I went out for lunch and enjoyed our time away from the little angels, courtesy of Kathy, Judy and Abby. We were quickly brought back to reality when getting ready to go and packing up the minivan took 45 minutes! It's so fun to watch the three of them and we look forward to hanging out more over the 4th!
