Busy Bs

Hi Everyone!
Sorry it's been a while since we've updated our site. The month of February has been a busy one for us. On February 4th Annelies was christened at St. Patrick's church here in Watertown. Marissa and Eben are the proud godparents. It was a nice service and we had fun with family and friends back at our house. That evening Annelies attended her first SuperBowl Party- though she slept through most of it!
On Thursday Annelies had her 4 month check-up. She weighed in at 13 lbs. 12 oz and is 24.5 inches long. (about 6 kg and 64.5 cm) She received some vaccines and did great with the shots. Dr. Mitchell says she's doing well and we agree!
This past weekend I attended a job conference in Boston and Nana got to spend the day with Annelies. I think Nana wishes I had somewhere to be every week so she could spend time with the little munchkin! The fair wasn't a big success, but it's just a start at looking for next year.
We met up with some friends, Joel and Alissa, from Antwerp on Friday night; they were in town for an international school job fair. It was great to see them and to catch up. On Saturday we met up with my former principal from Antwerp, Karen and her husband, Taylor. She was actually attending the job conference I was at. We had a nice lunch and enjoyed introducing them to Annelies.
Last night was Annelies' first try at rice cereal, though it's more liquid than anything else. She wasn't entirely convinced that this is the next great thing, but we're sure she'll come around to it in time.
Hans' job continues to go well, and he's now playing basketball twice a week, which makes him happy :) We hope you all have a happy, heart-filled Valentine's Day and that all is well in your part of the world!
Be sure to check out all the newly posted photos, there's quite a few!
Love,
