Two Month Mark!

Hi again!
Yesterday Annelies saw the pediatrician for her two month check up. She is doing well and is right where she should be in terms of growth and development. She has grown 5 inches since her birth, but I guess we sholdn't be surprised that she's 93rd percentile for height. She can thank her papa for that!
We enjoyed our small Sinterklaas celebration last week. Our Christmas tree is up and things are looking festive around town. It is nice to be home for the holiday season, rather than flying in for a short bit like in past years.

Lost and Found

Hello Everyone!
It's a miracle that I am finally learning how to do this whole posting to the blog thing! Hopefully I will continue to do so :)
The title today is lost and found because as you can see Annelies has lost her 'baby' hair, she's been shedding like mad. Needless to say, the loss of hair does not affect her ability to be incredibly cute! She has also found a few things recently, one of which is her mobile above her crib, she could lay there for hours, if only the darn thing was self winding :) She's also discovered her hands and we are endlessly amused by her attempts to get her thumb in her mouth. Not successful yet, but she has fun trying. She's been growing lots and I've already had to put away things she has outgrown- amazing. She's settling into more of a routine and Hans and I are now pretty good about interpreting what she needs. It's also getting easier to get out of the house and do things with her in tow. She's all ready to celebrate her 1st Sinterklaas, though she is too little for pepernoten and the mandarins won't even fit in her shoes!
Everything else is also going well for us. Hans is still enjoying his job and I'm enjoying the time I get to spend with our little munchkin. Hope all is well in your part of the world!
